i went to eastern europe for my birthday. we left the day right after the dutch national holiday queens day, and because we didn't really stop travelling, i was properly hungover the entire trip. survive i did, though, through several days of combined train traveling, hauling my backpack across prague krakow and berlin, and of course, obligatory birthday celebrations ( - - i remember absinthe and champagne..??).
